Suburban Philadelphia Soccer Officials Sportsmanship Award
In an attempt to foster and recognize Exemplary Sportsmanship,
the Suburban Philadelphia Soccer Officials Association each year makes
a plaque award to soccer teams which demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship
on the field of play during the season. This annual award is given to
teams which consistently demonstrate outstanding conduct within the
rules of the game, participate in the spirit of the game, play fairly
on the field, have consideration for opposing players and officials
and control the conduct of their fellow players.
The teams eligible are those which are serviced by the
referees of the Suburban Philadelphia Soccer Officials Association.
Nominations can come from the Middle school level to the College Level
within both Montgomery and Bucks counties. One award will be for the
Boy's Soccer Season and another for the GirlŐs Soccer Season. All nominations
are received from the Chapter referees.
